Cosmos
Montana
Foaled 2011
Sire: Cosmos Ambassador
Dam: KB Vivacious
Color: Bay
Cosmos Montana, also known as Monty, is a 2011 bay
Morgan gelding, bred and raised at Domino Stables by Susie Weiss. He was
sold to his current owner, Mikayla Bennett, as a four year old with lots
of potential to be competitive in almost any division. A few years ago,
Mikayla and Monty moved to Madison, WI to try their luck in the
Hunter/Jumper arena. In just a couple of months it was clear that Monty
excelled in the jumper ring. In the past couple of years the pair has
been competing against Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds and winning division
after division. Near the end of the last show season, Monty and Mikayla
placed very well in the Mini Prix, with fence heights set at 3'6 to 4'0.
The unassuming, little, bay gelding has written himself as a top
competitor no matter who walks into the arena.

Cosmos Raphael
Foaled: 2007
Sire: Cosmos Ambassador
Dam: Treble's Sweet Memories
Color: Bay Gelding
Raphael is my “cool” can do anything horse. We
enjoy trail riding him, carriage driving, showing in western pleasure, ponying
horses off of him, and anything we can think of! He is like a Porsche to ride: smooth to ride with power steering!
Since Retiring, I have been enjoying
our horses out of the show arena. We have been enjoying trail riding and
driving.
The driving photos
were taken at the National Drive, held in Edinburgh, Indiana. They host carriage
driving in the spring and fall with over 100 horses in attendance!

Cosmos
Technicolor
Foaled: 2014
Sire: Red Rose Moonshine
Dam: Cosmos Arbor Mist
Color: Palomino Gelding
Better known as “Nicky” brought some new
color to our farm. His beautiful palomino color and western build is a nice
complement to our versatile Morgans. We showed him a little as a three year
old Western pleasure and halter horse and we did very well. I plan on
enjoying him in my senior years as a reining and ranch horse. I have always
wanted to do reining and now I plan to do so.
2018 was our first year showing “Nicky” in
Reining. We took him to the Morgan Nationals in Oklahoma City for his debut
in reining. We won the 2018 Reserve World Champion 3 and 4 year old Snaffle
Bit Reining with Manny Hershberger showing him.
In 2019 Susie showed
Nicky at the Working Western Celebration Show at the Alliant Center. They
had classes for the Morgan Breed sponsored by the Morgan Horse Association
and the National Morgan Reining Association. With Susie and Nicky’s first
show in the Ranch and Reining Classes, we ended up Reserve Champion Morgan.
Our next big show was
the Morgan Nationals. We placed Reserve in the Grand National Non-Pro
Reining. In the World Championship Non-Pro reining, Nicky did a good job,
but “rider” error gave us a score of “0”. It was a mistake I will not forget
again!!
We were able to make up
for the “rider” error, as we came home as the Reserve World Champion Snaffle
Bit Reiner.

Cosmos Ringmaster
Foaled
2019
Sire:
Minion Millennium
Dam:
Cosmos Arbor Mist
Color:
Chestnut Stallion
Ringo is a good sized colt
with a good personality and plenty of talent. As he matures he will let us know
what division he will be trained for. Cosmos Ringmaster we
hope will be a new start to a new generation of Cosmos Morgan’s. (Minion
Millennium x Cosmos Arbor Mist) Every year the Morgan Magazine has a “Those
Amazing Morgan Foals” contest. We took a photo of Ringmaster (Ringo) for fun
and sent it in. We were very surprised with the results of our photo!! We
were Second place in the “Morgan Character” and then First Place in Artistic
Composition!! The photos were judged by two different people. Guess it was
only fitting to have a photo of a foal in the fog with his mother’s name of
Arbor MIST!! |
Cosmos Gabriella

Cosmos Ambassador
Foaled: 1993
Sire: Saddleback Sentinel
Dam: Nodawayruby
Color: Chestnut Stallion
“C.A.” is our second generation stallion. The
son of our foundation sire: Saddleback Sentinel. He has provided us with many
years of enjoyment in the show ring, on the trail, courting our fine Morgan
mares and just having him around the farm. He has earned his retirement program
with us. With close to 100 foals to his name, you could not ask for a better
mannered, trainable and sweet stallion.
It is
with sadness that Cosmos Ambassador is no longer with us. We had to put him
humanely down in September. It was a hard decision to make, as we could not have
asked for a better producing Stallion that gave us the quality with personality
and disposition. His actions told us “it was time”, as we did not want to see
him suffer once the cold weather came. |
Treble's Sweet
Memories
Foaled: 1993
Sire: Tug Hill Commando
Dam: Treble's Wild Mary
Color: Bay Mare
“Peaches” has also earned her retirement program
with us. Crossed with Cosmos Ambassador, a breeder could not ask for better
foals. Her foals are always easy and willing to work with, with great
disposition, good size, and incredible workability! What a “sweety”.
The cold winter
month’s were getting hard for “Peaches”, so she is now in her retirement home
in Arizona. She is enjoying more attention in Arizona than she would have had in
Wisconsin. She is now a confidence builder for handicapped kids. |
